The NE corner of the Parthenon from NW
One metope on the entablature (on top of the columns) of the North side of the Parthenon is visible. The North metopes depict the battle between the Greeks and Trojans.
Notice the sima with lion's head waterspout. To the right of the sima is an antefix carved in the shape of a palmette.
