The East side of the Parthenon from East
The entrance to the temple is between the two midle columns. Notice the steps. The door which can now be seen was not visible then. The temple had then two chambers with a dividing wall. The visible door is the door of the rear chamber, on the West side.
In front of the Parthenon (bottom of picture) are the remains of the Temple of Roma and Augustus.
