Miletus Theater and Temple of Athena (top right) The theatre was first built in the 4th century BCE. It was renovated and enlarged in the Hellenistic age and seating capacity reached 5,300. Later on, in the Roman period (2nd century CE) it was reconstructed and mainly enlarged to 20,000 spectator capacity. |
