Relief figures on cylindrical well-head (puteal), 2nd century CE, probably copying a 4th century BCE original.
This Roman well-head in Madrid shows Zeus, Athena and Hephaistus, with Nike crowning Athena and accompanied by the Three Fates.
If the main group owes anything to the Parthenon it is via a fourth-century relief which included the Fates.
