Athena Velletri bust from right with study. The peplus (dress) is slipping from the right shoulder so it opens under de right arm leaving the chest partially visible. (The peplus is just a simple rectangle of cloth pinned at the shoulders and belted, and wrapped around the body from left to right, thus opened at the right side of the body.) The left breast is ahead and lower then the right one due to the rotation of the body to the right and the raise of the right shoulder. |
