    Athena Pythis
Fragment of an Athena from the Acropolis by Pythis, dedicated by Epiteles (the same combination can be found on an Acropolis base).
The right foot is associated with a column ('the foot is unsurpassed in all archaic sculpture' - Payne).
The left foot was made separately.
There is a cutting for a spear held upright, so an Athena.
The capital of its column survives.
About 510 BCE, Height of capital 0.25 m
    Acropolis, Museum 136
