Athena of Piraeus
In this great statue in bronze Athena is dressed with peplos and
helmet with crest, she had a statuette (Victory), a owl or a cup in the
right hand, and a shield or a lance in the left hand.
This notable statue was discovered in 1959.
Bronze, Height 235 cm.
About 340-375 BCE
