The Union of England and Scotland
(Charles I as the Prince of Wales)
The child here represents the young prince Charles, later King Charles I of England, as the embodiment of the union of England and Scotland.
Three women crown him: the one in red personifies England; the second in yellow, Scotland; and the third, Minerva, Goddess of Wisdom and War.
